GETTING THERE

To get to Bruny Island you will need to catch a ferry from Kettering, 45 minutes drive from Hobart. 

From Hobart, follow Davey Street onto the Southern Outlet (Highway A6) towards Kingston. Follow the signs to the Bruny Island Ferry. This will take you along the Channel Highway through Margate, Snug and Oyster Cove before arriving in Kettering.  Once you have arrived in Kettering, you will need to turn left onto Ferry Road. The ferry terminal is at the end of Ferry Road.

The Bruny Island Ferry is operated by SeaLink. Bookings are currently not required and tickets can be purchased when you arrive at the ferry terminal. Ferry times are subject to change so please double check the timetable before you travel.
