Bruny Island Cruise with Kettering Pickup

If you wish to take our three-hour eco-adventure cruise but would prefer to leave your car at Kettering and catch our bus to the departure point at Adventure Bay you have the option of taking our Kettering Pick up. For just $10 extra for adults and $5 extra for children you can join our interpretative guide for a tour of Bruny Island on the way to Adventure Bay where you can enjoy morning tea* at our cafe before joining our three-hour eco-adventure cruise. After the cruise you have time to have lunch* at our cafe before catching the bus which will take you back to your car at Kettering.

You will catch the bus from our Kettering pick up point at 9am. There is plenty of free parking and you will be returned to your car by 5pm.

Location of Kettering Meeting Point

Our Kettering Meeting Point is located at the Oyster Cove Marina. Please leave your car in the ample parking space opposite the Oyster Cove Chandlery. You should arrive at the Meeting Point by 8.45am as the bus will meet you here at 9am sharp. Payment will not be required until you arrive at our booking office at Adventure Bay, Bruny Island.

To get to Oyster Cove Marina you take the Kettering Ferry turnoff from the Channel Highway and then take the first road on the left which will take you down to the Marina. Do not drive to the ferry terminal.

*Lunch and Morning Tea

Lunch and morning tea are available at our beachside cafe as an optional extra. We serve muffins and a hot drink of your choice for morning tea and for lunch a choice of hot soup and/or a gourmet roll with Salmon, ham or salad. You are also welcome to bring your own food to enjoy by the beach.

Clothing
Warm and windproof clothing, a hat and sun protection is recommended. We supply wet weather gear and warm clothing if required.

Guides
Our team of experienced interpretive guides are chosen for their knowledge, experience and skill. They all hold appropriate first-aid and other relevant qualifications.

Note to AVIS Car Hire Customers
AVIS currently prohibit customers to drive AVIS vehicles on Bruny Island.
If you are a AVIS Car Hire customer you have the choice of either taking our Full Day Tour from Hobart or making use of our Kettering Pick Up service.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel or vary any trip and will incur no liability for any such cancellation or alteration. However, we will not cancel because of low bookings - we will operate the cruise with one passenger if necessary!

If we cancel a trip there will be no charge to you. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, turn up late or otherwise can't make it; please be aware that cancellation fees may apply and you may forfeit some or all of your fare.
